The seminar “Create your business from scratch: basics of entrepreneurship” was a success! From 4th to 5th May 2016 The Center of Support of Entrepreneurship and Employment of Young People with Disabilities “Uzel”, the Charitable Public Association “World without borders” with the support of the UN Democracy Fund held a seminar in Ivenets orphanage for children with physical disabilities.
The final year students, the staff and administration of the orphanage, the representatives of business sphere, public organizations and mass media became the participants of the seminar. The seminar program included lectures, trainings and meetings with interesting people. Experienced specialists such as lecturers from the University of Physical Culture (Department of Management, Tourism and Hospitality), and from the Russian State Social University held the seminar.
Different issues of entrepreneurship, legislative and legal aspects of entrepreneurship, taxation, business planning were much spoken about. There were also training sessions on time management, goal-setting and behavioral strategies. The lecture on promotion in social networks was of a special interest for the audience.
The participants of the seminar had a meeting with the owner of the farmstead “Za mostochkom” Dmitry Nakonechny. The meeting had the “question-answer” format. The participants learned much about business organization in the field of agrotourism, about the problems and positive aspects of this business. Individual entrepreneur Alexander Taptunow shared his experience in the field of catering business. Olga Mzelskaya told the audience about the concept and development of crowdfunding in the world and in Belarus, as well as about the crowdfunding platform “Beehive”.
Needless to say, the seminar was informative and eventful. Warm informal atmosphere and possibility of communicating with old and new friends helped to avoid fatigue and to make complicated terms and figures clear and interesting.
